<\/em>There\u2019s an enormous volume of verses about the 2nd<\/sup> coming of Jesus Christ. Obviously, God wants you to be convinced of this most important truth. It\u2019s imperative that you realize its relevance, especially now that we are living in the end-times. Christ\u2019s coming is not a minor, secondary truth, but a major, primary truth. Just think, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, could come back in your lifetime. You may actually see Him return on the clouds to rapture you and the church.

That God gives us so many verses about Christ\u2019s coming means that it must be a subject He really wants you to know and understand. My purpose in this post is not to address all the details in these 2nd<\/sup> coming verses, but to impress you with this singular message, that Jesus Christ is coming again!

<\/p>\n\n

The verses I have written out are those containing the word coming, appearing, and revealing. The word coming<\/strong> is in both a noun form, speaking of Christ\u2019s arrival and presence, and a verb form, referring only to the fact that Christ will arrive. Appearing<\/strong> means to shine forth, telling us that Christ will be visibly evident to the whole world – no one will miss Him. Revealing<\/strong> speaks of the uncovering, the unveiling of our coming Lord and King. Jesus Christ is very much alive, and for Christians, He is spiritually in our hearts, but now He is physically in heaven and hidden from view. Soon enough, Christ will physically come, physically appear, and physically be revealed<\/strong>, and the entire world will see Him in all His glory. What a day that will be!!!

Here are 54 verses about the coming of Jesus Christ:
Matthew 23:39<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cI say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you say, \u2018Blessed is He who comes<\/strong> in the name of the Lord.\u2019\u201d<\/em>
Matthew 24:3<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cWhat will be the sign of Your coming<\/strong> and of the end of the age?\u201d<\/em>
Matthew 24:27<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cJust as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming<\/strong> of the Son of Man be.\u201d<\/em>
Matthew 24:30-31<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cThe sign of the Son of Man will appear<\/strong> in the sky, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming<\/strong> on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to another.\u201d<\/em>
Matthew 24:37-38<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cThe coming<\/strong> of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away. So will the coming<\/strong> of the Son of Man be.\u201d<\/em>
Matthew 24:42<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cBe on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming<\/strong>.\u201d<\/em>
Matthew 26:64<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cHereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power and coming<\/strong> on the clouds of heaven.\u201d

Mark 8:38<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cWhoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes<\/strong> in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.\u201d<\/em>
Luke 12:37-38<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cBlessed are those slaves whom the master will find on the alert when He comes;<\/strong> truly I say to you, that He will gird himself to serve and have them recline at the table, and will come up and wait on them\u2026\u201d<\/em>
Luke 12:40<\/strong> – \u201cBe ready, for the Son of Man is coming<\/strong> at an hour that you do not expect.\u201d<\/em>
Luke 17:29-30<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cOn the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.<\/strong>\u201d<\/em>
Luke 18:8<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cHowever when the Son of Man comes,<\/strong> will He find faith on the earth?\u201d<\/em>
John 14:3<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cIf I go and prepare a place for you, I will come<\/strong> again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.\u201d<\/em>
Acts 1:11<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cThis Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven will come<\/strong> in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.\u201d<\/em>
1 Corinthians 1:8<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cYou are not lacking any gift, awaiting eagerly the revelation<\/strong> of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will keep you strong to the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/em>
1 Corinthians 15:22-23<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cFor as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ\u2019s at His coming.\u201d

Colossians 3:4<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cWhen Christ, who is our life, is revealed<\/strong>, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.\u201d<\/em>
1 Thessalonians 2:19<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cFor who is our hope or joy or crown of exultation? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming?\u201d<\/strong><\/em>
1 Thessalonians 3:13<\/strong> \u2013 \u201c\u2026 so that He may establish your hearts without blame in holiness before our God and Father at the coming<\/strong> of our Lord Jesus with all His saints.\u201d<\/em>
1 Thessalonians 4:15-17<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cWe who are alive and remain until the coming<\/strong> of the Lord, will not proceed those who fall asleep. The Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.\u201d<\/em>
1 Thessalonians 5:23<\/strong> \u2013 \u201c\u2026 may your spirit and soul and body be persevered complete, without blame at the coming<\/strong> of our Lord Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/em>

1 Peter 1:7<\/strong> \u2013 \u201c\u2026 so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation<\/strong> of Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/em>
1 Peter 1:13<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cTherefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation<\/strong> of Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/em>

Revelation 1:7<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cBehold, He is coming<\/strong> with the clouds, and every eye will see Him.\u201d<\/em>
Revelation 22:7<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cBehold, I am coming<\/strong> quickly. Blessed is He who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book.\u201d<\/em>
Revelation 22:12<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cBehold, I am coming<\/strong> quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what He has done.\u201d<\/em>
Revelation 22:20<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cBehold, I am coming<\/strong> quickly. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.\u201d

<\/em>Here are 49 more verses about Christ’s coming, ones that are either duplicates, Old Testament verses, or do not have the words coming, appearing, or revealing in them. I encourage you to read and reread all the above verses. Study them, and study them in their context. And share them with others. May they encourage your soul and give you hope. Now more than ever before, be looking forward to the coming of Jesus Christ, your Savior, Lord, and King.
