By Steven J. Hogan

Dear friends – we are living in extremely dangerous times, extremely spiritually difficult times. We must not be asleep, we must be awake and alert, and working and fighting with and for Jesus Christ (Neh. 4, Eph. 6:10-18). Might each of you be doing your part during the last years of this age, might each of you be serving our precious Lord and Savior and excitedly waiting for Him to return to rapture the church and take us home to heaven. 1 Thess. 1:9-10

What is so very encouraging during these times is knowing that God has given us His Spirit to be in us and with us, and His word to lead us, strengthen us, and guide us. Specifically, He has told us a great deal of information about the future, about these end-times, the return of Christ to rapture the church, and the glorious kingdom age that follows.

But how are you to live in these times? You must know what God has said about the future. “Be on your guard, I have told you everything ahead of time” (Mark 13:23). God has told you all you need to know about the future, and it’s up to you to read it. I strongly encourage you to read and study Daniel 7-12, Matthew 24, Luke 21, Romans 8:18-39, 1 Thess. 4-5, 2 Thess. 1-2, 1 Peter 1:3-16, and the book of Revelation.

I also encourage you to read the Psalms – it talks extensively about your relationship with God, extensively about your future, and extensively about the enemy. They give us a lot of important informtion about the enemy, who they are, what they do, and how God will judge them. Listed below are 81 different Psalms that talk about our enemy. That there are this many Psalms that speak about the enemy means that this subject is critical for us to know and understand.

One of the things that helps me most during these troubling times, during these war years, during the last years of this church age, is that God will judge His enemies, all those who reject Him and don’t repent of their sins. Yes, we should be loving and praying for the lost (Matt. 5:44) and sharing the gospel with them, believing that God will save some sinners (Matt, 24:14), but we should also know that God will judge those who don’t love Him, those who love themselves and their sin. Revelation 6:9-17

Listed below are most of the Psalms that speak about the enemies of God, and our enemies too. (My post #313 is instructive in that it goes over some of the key Psalms on this subject). As time goes on, I will be writing out a verse or two from each of these Psalms. I suggest that you use this list as a means to further study the enemy, and how you are to call on the Lord and do your part in this good fight, a fight that Jesus Christ will win. and resoundingly so – and we will be victorious with Him. “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:37
